He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Stowers and Nadine Stowers (Adamson); and his brothers, Richard Stowers, Willard Stowers and Kenneth Stowers.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Stowers; his son Tony Williams Stowers; his grandchildren, Summer Burton Williams, Autumn Williams, Jacob Williams and Hannah Williams; and his great grandchildren, Eli Burton, Nash Burton and Zoe Burton.
