She is survived by: her husband Marcelino Lara; her son Shawn Lara of Lubbock; her grandchildren, Elysia Lara-Gonzalez (Oscar), Tyera Lara, Damian Silvas (Marissa) and Junior Silvas (Megan); and her siblings, Joe, Ruben, Abel, Felipe, Lucilla, Linda and Virginia. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
