He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Sierra and Pascuala Sierra (Flores); his sons, Larry Don Sierra and Rickey Sierra; his great grandchild David Rios Sierra; and his siblings, Andres Sierra, Adolfo Sierra and Anita Guzman.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Cruz Rodriquez of Littlefield; his children, Johnny Sierra Jr. of Littlefield, Freddy Sierra of Littlefield, Armando Sierra of Littlefield, Rachel Salinas of Littlefield, Mary Alice Ramos of Littlefield, Elizabeth Vargas of Littlefield, Diana Rojas and Rebecca Archie of Amarillo; and his siblings, Alfredo Sierra of El Paso, Adelaido "Lalo" Sierra of Littlefield, Ofilia De Leon of Erick and Adelmira "Nina" Guzman of Dallas. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
