She was predeceased by: her mother Beverly Ann Houston; her stepmother Barbara Tibbitts; her husband George Nickelson Jr.; her father-in-law Geroge Nickelson Sr.; and her stepbrother Mitchell Kirkwood.
She is survived by: her father Thomas J. Tibbitts; her siblings, Thomas T. Tibbitts (Kristen) of Boston, MA and Linda McLennan of Simi Valley, CA; her stepsisters, Dian Welle (Daniel) of Idaho and Nora Dunagan (Michael) of Idaho; her son Casey Nickelson of Whitharral; her grandchildren, Madyson, Brooklyn and Carson; her son Corey Nickelson of Lubbock; her grandchildren, Audrey and Isla; her son Kyle Nickelson of Whitharral; her daughter-in-law Taylor Nickelson; her mother-in-law Ileene of Whitharral; and her siblings-in-law, Lisa Rutledge (Todd) of Whitharral, Travis Nickelson (Judy) of Levelland and Candace Jordan (Chuck) of Weatherford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Krestridge Funeral Home (505 Austin St, Levelland, TX 79336). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Whitharral Baptist Church (399 Reed Ave, Levelland, TX 79380).
