He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Pierce (Powell) and W. T. Pierce; his wife Nadine Pierce; his children, Elizabeth Polk and Garland Pierce; and his grandchildren, Donnie, Justin, Tiffany Green and Dena Perez.
He is survived by: his children, Billie Green of Levelland and William "Junior" Pierce of Gladewater; and his sisters, Olene Kerby of Littlefield and Oleta Williams of Levelland. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
