He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Dendy and Susie Dendy; his siblings, Earl Dendy and Norma Morrow; and his sons, Gary Langford and Billy Dendy.
He is survived by: his wife Sug Dendy; his sister Pak Bryant of Graham, Texas; his daughter Pam Dendy Bownds (Casey) of Littlefield; his daughter-in-law Heather Ruff of Littlefield; his grandchildren, Nikki Jones (Brad) of San Antonio, Texas, Mike Bownds (Kelly) of Littlefield, Ashley Douglas (Duncan) of Tioga, Texas, Kelly Dendy of Littlefield, Lilli Ford of Littlefield and Sherrie Lefevre (Brandon) of Hamlin, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Julie-Ann, Emma, Jonathan, Joshua, Avery, Karli and Reign. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
