He is survived by: his brother Willis Sansom; his sons, Joshua Dean Carter and Jonathan Dion Carter (Jennifer Carter); and his grandchildren, Jordan, Christian, Colton (Elizabeth Carter), Connor Duffey of Houston and Leslie Carter (Gene Carter) of Little River.
