He is survived by: his brother Jerry Hilliard (Becky); his wife Sharon Hilliard; his son John Hilliard (Leslie); his stepchildren, Kim Umhoefer (Darrell), Greg Clark (Carrie) and Cheryl Clark; and his grandchildren, Lizzie Hilliard, David Hilliard, Zach Umhoefer (Madeline), Tyler Umhoefer (Abigail), Taylor Clark, Madison Clark, Parker Clark, Austin Clark, Savannah Bell, Vince Van Dam (Abigail) and Kenny Van Dam.
