She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Wolbrueck and Frances Wolbrueck (Strmiska); her husband William V. "Vernie" May; her stepfather Joe Dean Harris; and her sister Virginia Silvers.
She is survived by: her children, James May (Jeanne) of Beaumont, TX, Dean May (Jenice) of Temple, TX and Sandra Garrett (Butch) of Troy, TX; and her grandchildren, Bridgette Obr (John), Brandon May (Brianna), Susan Lynn (Jeff), Jeff Adams, Jenna Shell (Jay), Colby Cargill (Madeline), Colton Cargill, Sammy Unberhagen (Kim), Jessica Stuart (Kevin), Ronnie Unberhagen, Amanda Keith, Fara Vass (Darrel) and Anna Chaney (Jordan). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
