She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Meriwether and Addie Odessa Meriwether (Carter); her husband John Earl Martin; and her siblings, JoAnn Meriwether, Debra Meriwether and Thomas Meriwether Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Asia Miller Hughs of Little Elm, Joshua Martin of Irving and Jonathan Edward Martin of Dallas; and her siblings, Cynthia Daniels of California, Tara Orr of Washington, Latorsha Carter of California, Virgil Carer of California, Darell Meriwether, Sr. of Washington and Trent Meriwether of Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
