He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McKenzie and Arhetta McKenzie; his son Larry McKenzie; and his siblings, Joyce, Margie and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kath" McKenzie of Lipan; his children, Beki Jones of Grapevine, Christie Rose (George) of Watauga, MaryAnne Cavignac (Michel) of France, Gregg McKenzie (Amy Jo) of Tolar, Karri O'Connor of Galveston and Scott Marshall of Weatherford; his siblings, Carol Anderson, Barbara Brookshire, Lorraine Bliley, Kathy Miller and Curtis McKenzie; his grandchildren, Terie, Mike, Jason, David, Nickolas, Chase, Brenton, Abigayle, Austin, Callie, Nick, Jack, Steffan and Tamra; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylin, Aden, Alanna, Josie, Jaydin, Ryalynn, Raeven and Agathe.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or The Wounded Warrior Project.
