She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Frank "Joe" Hermes; and her parents, Peter F. Koelzer and Gertrude T. Koelzer (Sicking). She is survived by: her children, Sherry Betts (Rodney) of Amarillo, Kathy Hermes of Ruidoso, NM, Della Hermes of Ruidoso, NM, Joyce Hermes of San Antonio, Carl Hermes (Beny) of Flower Mound, Linda Nortman (Danny) of Lindsay and Glenn Hermes (Mary) of Azle; her grandchildren, Geoffrey Betts (Emily), Elissa Allison (Tanyan), Abigail Betts, Jacob Betts, Nathan Betts, Elena Jaramillo, Nicholas Hermes, Christina Hermes, Amy Holcomb (Adam), Amber McDonough (Joe), Katie Alaniz (Seve) and Tiffany Key (James); her siblings, Aileen Knabe of Muenster, Wilfred Koelzer of Keller, Veronica Jones of Madill, OK, Norman Koelzer of Muenster, Dolores Hermes of Woodbine and Melvin Koelzer (Bobbie) of Muenster; and her siblings-in-law, Emilia Voth of Gainesville, Angela Haverkamp of Lindsay, Rita Corcoran of Gainesville, Gilbert Hermes of Lindsay and Wanda Hermes of Lindsay. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
