He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gunn and Lottie Gunn; his grandson Tristan Gunn; and his siblings, Stanley Gunn, Steve Gunn and Carolyn Birchfield.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Gunn of Linden, Texas; his children, Brian Gunn (Amy) of Stonewall, Louisiana and Amanda Lane (Nickolas) of Rose Pine, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Evan Kelleher, Cebastian Lane, William Lane, Jacob Lane and Ethan Lane.
