She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Bunt" and Mary Alice Hays; the father of her children Noble Spencer Greer; her husband Berton Jay Brewer; and her granddaughter Macey Spencer Avis.
She is survived by: her sister Marsha Hays Copeland; her granddaughter Rosemary Hays; her daughters, Mary Ann Jordan (Doug) and Tania Greer; her grandchildren, Brad Tyson (Sara), Ashley Tyson (Dylan Manning), Dani Jordan and Sophia Greer; her great grandchildren, Adalyn, Sydney and Brayden Tyson; her mother-in-law Sinh Brewer; and her siblings-in-law, Barry, Brian Brewer, Paul, Roy, James Greer and Susie Greer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other friends.
Memorials may be made to the Wells Chapel Cemetery Association or the Linden United Methodist Church Food Bank.
