It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanford Birdsong of Linden, Texas, born in New Boston, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick Birdsong and Bula Mae Triplet Birdsong; his wife Gwendolyn Birdsong; his sons, Patrick Birdsong and Ray Birdsong; and his son-in-law Phillip Greenhill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Greenhill and Patricia Duncan (Joe); his sister Velma Barnard; and his grandchildren, Kellen Greenhill, Dewayne Duncan, Sharron Duncan and Amy Duncan. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
