With solemn reverence, we commemorate Rodney Smith of Linden, Texas, whose life came to an end on January 14, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Smith and Margaret Ann Capers Smith; and his brother Eddie Wayne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Kim Smith; his sons, Ducer Smith (Lindsey) and Nick Smith (Brandi); his grandchildren, Brody, Tyler, Avery and Sofia; and his siblings, Norma Layva, Rhonda Hinds, Craig Henry, Kyle Henry, Karen Fromberg and Katressa May. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends to honor Rodney's memory through contributions to Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church Youth, South Union Missionary Baptist Youth, or the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
