He was predeceased by: his parents, Rube Ross Yarbrough and Bertha Lee Pate Yarbrough. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Yarbrough of Atlanta, Texas; and his sons, Robert Benjamin Yarbrough of Sachse, Texas and James Howard Yarbrough (Diana Yarbrough) of McKinney, Texas.. He is also survived by two grandsons, three granddaughters, five great grandsons and four great granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Linden Cemetery (1103 N Main St, Linden, TX 75563). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the same location.
