He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Fleming and Allegro Fleming. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Fleming of Linden, TX.; his children, Stephen Earl Fleming of Ashville, NC., Rhonda Yap (Ernie) of Paris, ME. and Gail Fleming of Ashville, NC.; his stepchildren, Jeff Butler, Lisa Buller, Vanessa Bordlee (Steve) and Sandra Wagner (Jeffrey); and his siblings, Phyllis Armstrong and Roger Fleming. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
