He is survived by: his son Lance Simmons (Deanne Simmons); his wife Linda; his son Derek (Jennifer Simmons); his grandchildren, Logan Simmons (Amie), Landon Simmons (Emily), Parker Simmons and Alyssa Simmons; his sister Martha Williams of Linden; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Simmons of Manchester, TN and Doris Simmons of Marshall.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Linden (202 N Main St, Linden, TX 75563). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Linden (105 E Graham St, Linden, TX 75563).
