He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston May and Edith May; and his sister Shirley Martin. He is survived by: his wife Sue May of Linden, Texas; his children, Joey May (Lisa) of Texarkana, Arkansas, Debbie May of Queen City, Kim Roberson (Pat) of Linden and Donna Dorsett of Shreveport, Louisiana; his sister Jerry Battenfield (Wayne) of Atlanta, Texas; his grandchildren, Mary Anna, Clint, Natosha, Katie, Colby, Eric and Maygan; and his friend Gary Hays. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; a number of other relatives.
