He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis James Hurst and Helen Annett Austin Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Debra Hurst of Lindale; his children, Thomas W. Foreman, Joseph W. Ellis and John L. Ellis; his siblings, Helen Lawrence and Jim Hurst; and his nieces and nephews, Angela Rivera, Mandy Sandvig, Bobby Bock and James Miller. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
