He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Troy "Bub" and Juanita Pearl "Nita" Boyd Davis; and his brother-in-law Mitchell Culp. He is survived by: his wife Lori Davis of Lindale, Texas; his children, Christopher Davis (Lauren) of Lindale, Texas, Melissa Edwards (Roderick) of Gatesville, Texas, Jamie Jackson (Wil) of Gatesville, Texas and Rachel Johnson (Dylan) of Lindale, Texas; his sisters, Jan Crosby (Sam) of San Saba, Texas and Teresa Culp of Gatesville, Texas; and his grandchildren, K. J. Haywood, Jozy Jackson, Kaleigh Haywood, Zayden Jackson, Kayden Mayes, Jaxon Davis, Jack Johnson, Dani Johnson, Ryan Davis, Blakely Davis and Maggie Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
