She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Anna Helen Thurston (Baker); her husband Roy Leon Barrington; her brother John Thurston (Butch); and her granddaughter Brigette Munson.
She is survived by: her children, Leon (Monica Barrington) of Brownsboro, Johnny Barrington of Lindale, Blue (Regina Barrington), Dwayne Barrington of Lindale and Brenda Ogaz of Lindale; and her sister Shirley Jean Thurston of Lindale. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
