He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Royce Hanson and Dorothy Jean Hanson (Dykes); his wife Linda Parsons Hanson; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Little and Don Reep.
He is survived by: his daughter Christi Peters (Hal); his granddaughter Aubrey Peters of Houston, TX; his stepson Danny Parsons; his siblings, Leala Reep of Arp, TX, Donna Little of Tyler, TX and Jerry Hanson (Pamela) of Henderson, TX; his nephews, Josh Burks (Larissa), David Burks (Shelby) and Jeff Burks (Kimberly); and his niece Lisa Stott (Ryan).
In lieu of flowers, the family will collect school supplies for donation.
