He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Martin and Della Mae Phillips (Brown); his siblings, Alvin, Vernon, Waymond Phillips, Kathleen Campbell, Laverne Brown and Jean McQueen; and his daughter Kelly Bridges.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Phillips of Lindale, TX; his daughter Jana Kirkpatrick of Bay St; his grandchildren, Beth Beck (Brandon) of Tomball, TX, Kelcie Coote of Bay St, Whitney Tunnell (David) of Lindale, TX and Laura Kirkpatrick of Bay St; and his great grandchildren, Brinlee, Bryker, Grayson, Emmalee, Michael, Millee and Kynadee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
