He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter, Sr. and Stella Hales (Sadler); his daughter-in-law Kelly Bridges; his wife Ann Hales of Lindale, Texas; his children, Mike Hales of Lindale, Texas, Teresa Layne (Mike) of Lindale, Texas, Rodney Hales of Lindale, Texas, Kelly Moore (Tommy) of Lindale, Texas and Shelly Craze of Lindale, Texas; his son-in-law Jeff Craze of Lindale, Texas; and his grandchildren, Heather Pierce, Beth Beck, Morgan Holochuck, Heath Layne, Justin Hales, Chase Craze, Whitney Tunnell, Haylee Craze and McKenzie Moore. He was also cherished by 16 great grandchildren.
