He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Jackson and Flossie Lucille Bowins (Murrell); and his siblings, Joy Marie Hooker, Lois Harrison of Virginia, Bonnie Mae Bowins, Roy Edward Bowins and Travis Jackson Bowins Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Lou Bowins of Lindale; his children, Dennis Ray Bowins of Dadeville and Carrie Beth Blanchard (Jerry Adams) of Lindale; his grandchildren, Hollie Beth Scott, Kristy Lynn Johnson, Brian Scott Bowins and Billy Ray Bowins; and his great grandchildren, Anna Joyce McClenny, Benjamin Johnson, Emma Johnson, Caitlyn Bowins, Jenna Bowins, Justin Bowins, Kiley Bowins, Hailey Bowins and Chase Bowins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
As a COVID-19 precaution masks are required at all visitations and funeral services.
