With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Kay Bright of Lindale, Texas, born in Mesquite, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Bright; her father Marcus Ray Smedley; and her sister Carol Doss. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Geraldine Smedley (Daniel) of Lindale; her daughters, Kasie Johnson (Will) of Hot Springs, Kristi Lewis (Chuck) of Ashdown, Candi Aycock (Chris) of Tyler and Conni Terrell (Shane) of Tyler; her stepson Josh Bright (Morgan); her brother Marcus Smedley (Eileen) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Zachary (Emily), Chase (Darian), Garett, Austin (Suni), Jordan, Adalyn, Dominic, Avery, Molli, Madi, Nathan, Nova, Johnny, Charlie, Tex, Waylon, Jadin, Josh and Rayne; and her great grandchildren, Calin and Carter. She is also survived by six nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Friendly Baptist Church (1903 E Front St, Tyler, TX 75702).
