With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marwill James Edwards Jr. of Lindale, Texas, born in Tyler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 82. As Marwill James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marwill James. Though Marwill James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marwill James and Eunice Edwards (Mapps); and his daughter Linda K. Edwards. He is survived by: the mother of his children Belzora McGowan Edwards of Tyler; his stepdaughter Betty Walker (Paul); his sisters, Everyn Edwards of Dallas, Shirley Edwards Brown of Duncanville and Barbara Black of Tyler; his grandsons, Denzell Robertson, Jordan Robertson and James Edwards Jr.; and his close friend Jeff Daugherty of Lindale. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
