He is survived by: the mother of his children Belzora McGowan Edwards of Tyler; his stepdaughter Betty Walker (Paul); his sisters, Everyn Edwards of Dallas, Shirley Edwards Brown of Duncanville and Barbara Black of Tyler; his grandsons, Denzell Robertson, Jordan Robertson and James Edwards Jr.; and his close friend Jeff Daugherty of Lindale. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
