With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd Kennedy of Lindale, Texas, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin and Allie Mae Kennedy (Wood); his son Keith Kennedy; his siblings, Thomas Lee Kennedy and Sue Albritton; and his granddaughter Sofia Isabella Cruz.

He is survived by: his wife Dawn Kennedy of Lindale; his children, Nicki Hammond (John) of Tyler, Kevin Kennedy of Greenville, Matthew Kennedy (Molly) of Austin, Christy Balduf of Austin, LeAnn Kennedy of Tyler and Lisa Kennedy of Lindale; his sister Velma LaRue of Lindale; his grandchildren, Amaya Hammond, Noah Hammond, Jonah Hammond, Emma Kennedy, Justin Kennedy, McKayla Kennedy, Barry Ray Kennedy, Kirby Kennedy, Morgan Kennedy Sisk, Amanda Custer, Bryan Custer, Daniel Custer, Ashley Kennedy McMicheal, Neeley Arquette and Joshua Barker; and his nieces and nephews, Rene Kennedy, Rebecca Daughtrey, Chris Albritton, Leland Kennedy, Lynn Kennedy and Glen Kennedy. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
