Linda Guthrie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Guthrie of Lindale, Texas, born in Borger, Texas, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Daniel and Lura Mae Lewis (Sharpe); and her brothers, James P. Lewis, Steven D. Lewis and George R. Lewis.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Guthrie of Lindale, Texas; her children, Steven P. Thompson of Plano, Clifton S. Thompson of Lucas, Texas and Jennifer L. Moore of Allen, Texas; her stepsons, James R. Guthrie of Anna and Glen D. Guthrie of Georgetown, Texas; and her sister Sue Anne Knowles of Bryan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 step great grandchildren, and numerous other loving family members and friends.
As a Covid-19 precaution masks are required at all visitations and funeral services.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made either to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of East Texas.
