It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Garland Smith of Lindale, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Viola Kennedy Smith; his daughter Sherry McMurray; his parents, Homer Smith and Myrtle Brawley Smith; and his siblings, Ralph Smith, Alvin Smith, Billy Smith, Mildred Hudgens and Aleene Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hardwick and Phil Smith; and his sister Elouise Clower. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
