She is survived by: her husband George Gabelmann; her sister Mary Bray; her children, Mike Hicks (Delisa), Debbie Leland, Steve Hicks and Roger Hicks; and her stepchildren, Robin Welch (Mark) and Angie Miller (Larry). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Donations to Hospice of East Texas are appreciated for the loving care they showed Laura at the end of her life.
