He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Frank Maly and Anna Marie Maly; and his sister Avalon Falls. He is survived by: his wife Harriett Maly; his children, Cheryl Maly Becerra and John Paul Maly; his grandchildren, Andrew Becerra and Elizabeth Becerra; and his siblings, Patricia Maly and Billy Ray Maly.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's name at Second Christian Church, Houston, Texas or the Shriners.
