He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnum Bailey and Rosa Lee Barnett (Ashcraft); his brother Troy Lee Barnett; and his nephew Samuel Ray Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Barnett of Lindale; his children, Jerry Don Barnett Jr. (Debbie) of Lindale, Timothy Lee Barnett (Shirley) of Mineola, Daniel Glen Barnett (Melissa) of Garden Valley, Daryl DeWayne Barnett (Lola) of Boise, ID and Fern Lenora Barnett Dudley (Jeremy Thompson) of Lindale; his brother Earl Bailey Barnett (Lou) of Tyler; and his grandchildren, Shawn Michael Oliver, Jerry Don Barnett III, Natalie Ann Taylor, Timothy Matthew Barnett, Nathaniel Kent Barnett, Aaron Jones Barnett, William Kyle Barnett, Ryan Tucker, Joshua Tucker, Holly Brinkerhoff, Michael Houston Barnett, Kayla Erin Frye, Ryan Lance Dudley and Bailey Rose Jimenez. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
As a COVID-19 precaution masks are required at all visitations and funeral services.
