He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gilbert and Opal Gay McCormack (Wilcox); and his wife Charlene "Char" L. McCormack. He is survived by: his children, Kelli R. Brown (Dennis) of Cullowhee and James S. McCormack (Holly) of Morganton; and his grandchildren, Michael J., Mackenzie K. Ferguson, J. Patrick and Matthew R. McCormack. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
