He was predeceased by: his wife Reva Katherine Jackson (Sullivan); his parents, J. D. Jackson and Bessie Ophelia Jackson (Wilton); his aunt Mary Winkle; his siblings, Wilton D. "Pilt" Jackson and Belva Underwood Taylor; and his cousin Kermit Winkle.

He is survived by: his daughter Laura; his grandchildren, Kevin Millikan (Kelly), Kristin Harper (Wil), Katy Jetton (Neal), Austin Reeve Jackson (Laura), Ashley Elizabeth Jackson (Brent), Monica Jackson and Emily Jackson Gregory (Colby); his great grandchildren, Addison Elizabeth Jackson, Kenedy Renee Millikan, Katherine Belle Jackson, Jack Henry Harper, Lincoln Audie Jetton, Tyler Brent Jackson, Charles Fletcher Harper, Maryellen Love Jackson and Allison Reeve Jackson; and also Mary Winkle.
