She was predeceased by: her parents, G. H. Pittman (Doc) and Lura Bartley Pittman; her husband J. T. Gibson; her grandson Jake Dixon; her great grandchild Grey Momon; her siblings, Riley, James Pittman, Bonnie Shank and Doris Massey; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Gibson.

She is survived by: her children, Tommy Gibson and Sheila Dixon (Mark); her grandchildren, Abby Warnick (Michael), Kelly Momon (Damon), John Gibson (Cindy) and Jeff Atwood (Lesley); and her sister Janelle Taylor (Vernon Lackey). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
