We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, at the age of 96, Gerald Allen of Lindale, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Allen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Claud and Lois Allen (Bruton); his wife Geneva Barron Allen; and his brother Hubert Allen. He is survived by: his children, Wade Allen (Karen) of Lindale, Kenneth Allen (Teresa) of Tyler, Patrice Coulter (Rex) of Sand Flat and Sandy Francis (Tom) of Lindale; his brother R. L. Allen (Dorcas) of Denison; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Lexie, Lana, Kacy, Megan, Rachel, Katie and Ryan. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771).
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service and has asked that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to either the Hospice of East Texas or to Watkins-Logan Veteran's Home.
