He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lawrence and Beatrice Lawrence (Carliss). He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Woods Baxter; his wife Phyllis Lawrence of Lindale, TX; and his children, Jeffrey Lawrence (Linda) of Vancouver, BC, Debra Tanner of Ottawa, Ontario, Jeanne Jordan (Baxter) of Quitman, TX, Stephen Baxter (Renee) of Potsdam, NY, Scott Baxter (Vicky Bartlett) of Colton, NY, Michael Baxter of New York and Jill Baxter of Kentucky. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
