She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fletcher Mitchell and Annie Pearl Daily; her children, Lawrence Calip, Jr. (Joycene Calip), Billie J. Calip, Christopher Calip, Sonya Denise Calip (Roy V. Beard), Patrick Calip, Sr. (Stephanie J. Calip) and Samuel S. Calip; her brother Robert Mitchell; her husband Lawrence Calip, Sr.; and her siblings, Daisy Pearl Mitchell, Glady W. Page, David Mitchell, Annie Bridgeforth, Louis Mitchell, Leon Mitchell, LuJean Baker, Fletcher Mitchell and Sandra Mitchell. She was also cherished by her children, 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
