Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Edward Vickery (Lindale, Texas), born in Grand Saline, Texas, who passed away at the age of 85, on January 10, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rillous Lucy Bryant and Worth William Vickery; his former wife Betty Jane Howell Vickery; and his sisters, Billie Davis and Barbara Sneed.

He is survived by: his wife Marilou Venable McCarley; his children, Allison Carter (Bobby) of Houston and Donald Vickery Jr. (Maureen) of Houston; his stepchildren, Sharon Dwinell (Jerry) and Doug McCarley (Christie); his grandchildren, Emily Carter, Nathan Vickery, Evan Vickery, Elizabeth McCarley and Katherine McCarley; and his siblings-in-law, R. A. Howell (Sara), Earl Sneed and Dorothy Wright (Harold). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of East Texas, Hideaway Lake Community Church, or a charity of your choice.
