It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cordelia Bates Page (Lindale, Texas), who passed away on July 18, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Lon Charles Bates; her husband Homer Page; her son Daniel Summie Pegg; and her siblings, Arthur Bates, Mary Sharpe and Martha Wilson.

She is survived by: her parent Della Mae Garis Bates; her children, Manuel "Shorty" Pegg of Cedartown, Lynn Ely (Edward) of Silver Creek and Geneva Sue Custer (Brian) of Albany, NY; her brother Ollie Bates of Tampa, FL; and also, Harris Road and Silver Creek. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
