He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Anders and Anna Larue Anders (Weeks); and his brothers, Bobby Fay Anders, John Earl Anders, J. L. Anders, Winford O'Dell Anders and R. A. Anders.

He is survived by: his wife Merle Anders of Lindale; his sons, Ike Anders (Karla) of Lindale and Ray Anders (Susan) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Ryan Anders (Heather), Danny Anders (Samantha), Collin Anders (Rebecca), Christopher Anders, Isaac Anders (Andrea) and Rachel Bozeman; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Brinley, Esteban, Emanuel, Ezequiel, Wyatt, Weston and Warner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
