It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Arlene Ortiz of Lindale, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolyn Arlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn Arlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlon Michell Sr. and Margaret Garza Mitchell; her husband Benjamin Ortiz; and her brother Paul Watkins. She is survived by: her siblings, Vickie Wells, Pat Benjamin (Wayne), Michael Watkins (JJ) and Russell Templin. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
