With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Gene Hardage (Lindale, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Gene Hardage to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ernest Wilhelm and Margaret Valoise Massey (Evans); her husband James Hardage; her stepfather James Massey; her brother-in-law Victor Curtis Taylor; her uncle Van; and her aunt Mary Evans Vansant.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sunny Keene (James Smith Keene) of Hideaway and Casey Taylor of Hideaway; and her nieces, Jamie Dobbs, Barrie Keene, Renee Hardage and Noel McCarter. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery (12053 State Hwy 64, Tyler, TX 75704).
