He was predeceased by: his father James Elton Black. He is survived by: his wife Shauna Nicol of Lindale; his mother Michelle Toft of Lindale; his children, Larame Elton Nicol, Eli James Nicol and Kinley Marie Mathis; and his brothers, Justin Nicol (Haliegh) of Lindale and Logan Nicol (Catie) of Lindale.
