He was predeceased by: his parents, Oval John and Verne Faye Sherwood (Fitzgerald); his sister Judy Hollis; and his great-niece Ashleigh Kulik. He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Michelle Sherwood of Huntsville; his pet Bullet; his grandchildren, Adanya Minor, Isaiah Hughes, Aliyah Hughes and Josiah Hughes; his brother Larry Sherwood; his siblings-in-law, Norma of Houston and Don Hollis of Lindale; his niece Brandy Hollis; his stepchildren, Kira Madden of Freeport and Travis Cox of Freeport; and his stepgrandchildren, Cheyenne Cox, Dakota Cox, Jacob Cox, Delilah Cox, Tristan Madden and Aiden Madden.
