With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Gail Drosche of Lincoln, Texas, born in Giddings, Texas, who passed away on October 5, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert "Boots" Monroe Oscar Birnbaum Sr. and Emilie Bertha Birnbaum (Woelfel); her son Jason Drosche; her brother Leroy Birnbaum; her parents-in-law, Gussie and Amanda Drosche; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth and Roland Markert.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Drosche of Lincoln; her children, Angie Alvarado (Ramon) of Lincoln, Joseph Drosche of Round Rock and Derek Drosche (Casey) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Shannon of Lexington, Katie of Lexington and Madison Drosche of Lexington; her siblings, Valerie Namken (Gene) of Giddings, Wilbert Birnbaum Sr. (Barbara) of Lincoln and Virgil Birnbaum (Barbie) of Manheim; and her siblings-in-law, Frances and William "Willie" Riske of Houston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Manheim, the American Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
